Property types and custom fields

Choose which fields appear when you add a listing or client.

What this is

A property type is a template — apartment, house, land, and so on. Each type has its own fields (bedrooms, lot size, etc.).

A custom field is an extra question you add — like "pet friendly" or "preferred move-in date" on a client record.

UI path: Settings → Property Types · Custom Fields

Steps

1. Open property types

   Go to Settings → Property Types. You see types for your country (house, condo, etc.).

2. Edit or add a type

   Click a type to turn fields on or off. Click Add type if you need something custom for your market.

3. Open custom fields

   Go to Settings → Custom Fields. Pick whether the field is for Listings or Clients.

4. Create a field

   Click Add field. Name it, pick a type (text, number, yes/no, dropdown), and save.

5. Test on a new record

   Create a test listing or client. Confirm your new fields show up in the form.

Expected result

New listings and clients ask for the exact info your team needs — nothing more, nothing less.
