What this is
A plan decides how many people can join, how many listings you can have, and which features unlock.
Billing is where you see your plan, usage meters, payment method, and upgrade options.
UI path: Settings → Billing & Plans

Plan comparison (quick guide)
| Plan | Best for | Included seats | Listings | Standout features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | One agent working alone | 1 | 50 | Branded website + CRM |
| Team | Small teams sharing leads | 5 | 250 | Lead routing, agent performance, priority support |
| Enterprise | Brokerages and large offices | 15 | Unlimited | Multi-office, SSO, API, white-label |
Extra seats cost more per month on every plan. Exact prices appear on the billing page when you upgrade.
Free trial
When you pick a plan during signup, you get a 7-day free trial on that plan. You can explore features before your card is charged.
While trialing, a banner at the top of billing shows how many days remain. Upgrade or add a payment method before the trial ends to keep your data and access.
Steps — check usage and plan
Open billing
Click Settings → Billing & Plans.
Read your current plan
The Current Plan card shows your plan name (Solo, Team, or Enterprise), price, and renewal date. A Trial badge appears during your free trial.
Check usage meters
On the right, read the meters:
- Properties — listings used vs your limit
- Seats — team members used vs your limit (includes purchased extra seats)
- Custom Domains — domains connected vs your limit
Review features
Scroll the feature list under your plan. Each row shows what is included today.
Steps — upgrade or downgrade
Start a plan change
Click Upgrade Plan (or Manage Plan on Enterprise).
Pick Solo, Team, or Enterprise
Compare plans in the modal. Choose monthly or annual billing if offered.
Complete checkout
If you are new, Stripe Checkout collects your card. If you already subscribe, HousingStreet upgrades or downgrades in place — higher plans charge a prorated difference; lower plans take effect at the next renewal.
Confirm the change
Return to billing. Your plan name and meters should match the new tier.
Steps — buy more seats
Every plan can add extra seats. Seat price depends on your plan (Solo, Team, or Enterprise) and shows in INR for India billing or USD elsewhere — exclusive of GST. GST is added at checkout for India.
Find the Seats meter
On the billing page, look at the Seats card on the right. It shows included seats, purchased capacity, and the per-seat rate for your plan.
Set your target
Use − and + under Buy additional seats to pick how many total seats you want (at least your included seats and current team size).
Review the charge
HousingStreet shows the seat subtotal. For India, GST appears in the breakdown and the total due includes tax. For international Stripe subscriptions, you see a prorated charge for the rest of the billing period.
Confirm
Click Confirm seat purchase. India customers complete Razorpay checkout; the meter updates after payment succeeds.
Steps — manage payment and invoices
Open the billing portal
Click Billing Portal on the Current Plan card. Stripe opens in a new page.
Update your card
Add, replace, or remove payment methods in the portal.
Download invoices
Past invoices and receipts live in the same portal.
Return to HousingStreet
Close the portal tab. Refresh billing if you changed your default card.
What happens when you hit a limit
HousingStreet blocks the action and tells you what to do — you do not get silent failures.
| Limit | What you see | How to fix it |
|---|---|---|
| Seats | Invite fails with a seat-limit message | Buy more seats on billing, or Upgrade Plan |
| Listings | Cannot create or publish more properties | Upgrade to a higher plan with a larger listing cap |
| Custom domains | Cannot add another domain | Upgrade, or remove an unused domain first |
The Seats meter also appears on Settings → Team so admins see usage before sending invites.
Expected result
Your plan matches how your agency works today. Usage meters stay below limits (or you have upgraded). Payment is current and invoices are available in the billing portal.
