## What this is [#what-this-is]

HousingStreet free trials start only after we know the email is real. You can sign up with **email + password** (email OTP required) or **Google** (Google already verified the inbox).

## Steps [#steps]

  <Step title="Open Create account">
    From the marketing site, click **Start free trial** or go to the register page on the dashboard app.

  <Step title="Choose Google or email">
    **Sign up with Google** — approve Google access. If Google says the email is verified, your trial starts immediately (no second OTP).
    **Email** — enter your name, business name, email, and password, accept the terms, then click **Continue — verify email**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the email code">
    Check your inbox for a 6-digit HousingStreet code. Enter it on the register page and click **Verify & start free trial**. You can resend the code after the cooldown.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Finish onboarding">
    After verification, you land in onboarding to pick a plan and first steps. Your email is already verified — trial features that require a verified email are unlocked.

## Newsletter and demo requests [#newsletter-and-demo-requests]

Marketing forms (newsletter, demo, contact, waitlist) also require an email OTP before we add you to our list or open a sales conversation. Unverified addresses are never used for remarketing or WhatsApp.

## Expected result [#expected-result]

Only verified emails create trial accounts or marketing contacts. Fake or mistyped addresses cannot start a trial.
