## What this is [#what-this-is]

A **brokerage** is your company on HousingStreet. An **office** is one branch or location inside it.

Use offices when agents in different cities should only see their own leads, listings, and reports.

## Steps [#steps]

  <Step title="Open offices">
    Click **Settings** in the sidebar. Open **Multi-Office Management**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add an office">
    Click **Add office**. Type a name (for example "Downtown" or "North Branch"). Save.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Assign people">
    Open **Settings → Team**. Edit each person and pick which office they belong to.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the split">
    Sign in as an agent in one office. Confirm they only see leads and listings for that office.
  </Step>

Each office has its own roster. Data stays separate between offices unless you are an owner who can see everything.
