## What this is [#what-this-is]

An **audit log** is a running list of important actions — who logged in, who changed a setting, who deleted a record, and when.

Use it when you need proof of what happened inside your account.

## Steps [#steps]

  <Step title="Open audit logs">
    Go to **Settings → Audit Logs**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a date range">
    Use the date filter to narrow results to the week or month you care about.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Filter by person or action">
    Search by team member name or action type (for example "login" or "settings changed").
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open a row">
    Click any row to see full details — what changed, from which IP, and at what time.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Export if needed">
    Use **Export** to download a CSV for your records or compliance team.
  </Step>

You can answer "who did this and when?" without guessing. Exported files open in Excel or Google Sheets.
